The Board is Studenterhuset RUC’s supreme authority between the general assemblies and consists of 11 members and two alternates, all elected for one year. The Board elects its chairman, vice chairman and treasurer. From next General Assembly, the election of the chairman and treasurer will happen directly at the General Assembly.
The Board’s primary duty is to ensure that Studenterhuset RUC is operated and developed in accordance with the vision and goals, as the General Assembly has decided upon. The Board also handles negotiations with e.g. the university management, Roskilde Municipality and other external partners. In addition, the Board is responsible for the house’s economy and determine the budgets and approve the accounts.
