Rooms

The Studenterhuset should be a place for everyone. This entails that individuals or groups as a starting point can not occupy rooms or areas without Studenterhuset RUC’s permission. Some of the rooms in the house can be booked (see below), but to ensure accessibility for all, there are some limitations. Basically booking follows, first come, first served, but Studenterhuset RUC reserves the right to refuse bookings to ensure that everyone benefits. A booking is only valid when the booker has received confirmation from the Studenterhuset RUC.

Below you can book a room. If you have requests or needs which are not available, you are always welcome to contact us at kontakt@studenterhusetruc.dk so we can see what can be done.

You can book the following rooms. Click the link to see the requirements of the booking:

  • Meeting rooms (5 units) – big or small meetings
  • Project Room – bigger meetings or smaller events such as movie nights, workshops or others
  • Yellow Room – medium sized events such as presentations, grand meetings, big workshops, movie nights or others
  • Kitchen – uh huh, you know what it is

Overview over the rooms in the house (see here where what is)

Common areas

On the ground floor is the focal café which is located in the middle of the room. There are associated tables and chairs that can be used by all students for reading, group working or socializing. The cafe is open every day and even converted to bar both Thursday and Friday.

On the ground floor there is also two scenes that also serves as a cosy corners to complement the café tables and chairs.

On the 1st floor there is a large communal kitchen, where it is possible to cook and store food. The kitchen is for free use by all students at Roskilde University, and it is an extension of a dining room that can be used for communal meals, but also other major events, social and professional. On either side of the dining area there is a library and a reading room environment.

Spread out over two floors there are both meeting rooms that can be booked and rooms designed to cozy and relaxation.
