ABOUT THE STUDENT HOUSE
The Studenthouse is 100 % student driven, and every year new volunteer students work to make the house even better, so more students can enjoy the house. The Student House Board is committed to creating a house that gathers and engages all students at Roskilde University.
The Student House RUC is an open and inclusive gathering place for all students at Roskilde University. You can use the Student House for a lot of things. Whether you need a place to study, have a group meeting or hang out with your fellow students, we have the facilities for it. Upstairs (13.2) there are group rooms that you can book here, a community kitchen and a library, among other things.
Downstairs (13.1) you can meet all the volunteer organizations. Just knock on the office doors and say hello to the students who every day fight to make your time at RUC even better.
You can also visit RUCbar – Café and Bar, which is located on the main floor. Here you can study, play a board game or grab a cup of coffee, a soda or a beer with your fellow students. Give them a look here, or on their Facebook here.

BE A PART OF THE STUDENT HOUSE BOARD
As a member of the board you will be asked to attend board meetings, but the real work happens between the meetings! Whether you want to work with day-to-day tasks to make the house shine, or plan activities to engage students during their time at RUC, the Studenthouse is the place to be.
Being a part of the board also means, that you can get experience with voluntary work, and also meet a lot of different people from different lines of study, and form amazing friendships.
